About PRECAST

Precast is a design office providing services in the field of consultancy and structural design. We are specialized in precast concrete structures, however within company’s portfolio we have also steel structures. Our work can be found in Poland, Scandinavian market, Great Britain and Ireland.

To follow the latest trends, our work is carried out with the usage of BIM technology. As the result of our work, we provide for example:

• 3D calculation models together with calculation documentation prepared using software such as AxisVM, Idea Statica or Tedds,
• 3D Structural models and drawing documentation of the project prepared using Tekla Structures software. The design process run in such technology allows us to provide essential structural documentation during the construction of the building

Carrying out two most important parts of structural design, namely structural calculation and 3D structural model with drawing documentation – within one design office, allows us to solve relevant problems at the early stage of the design. This is crucial to decrease costs and increase labour productivity of workers in the factory and construction site.

Besides running the design, we also take care of coordination of the model and agreements with all parties involved in the design process.

In our projects we try to ensure possibly the easiest work for people in the factory making concrete panels as well as for people on site assembling structure. To accomplish that we provide clear drawings, reliable solutions and also order lists for factory and building site. We deliver Unitechnik files, which allow to print geometry of elements on the production tables. We also make sure that our calculations are clear in their assumptions, and the results in calculation reports are presented in logical and clear form.

After structure is modelled, we are able to prepare for investors preliminary design programme containing information about the time needed to complete the project, with the accuracy of a day or a week.

Precast has won Tekla BIM Awards three time so far:

1. In year 2020 for Lidl Ballymun project – best in the public voting category.
2. In year 2021 for Hampton Wood project – best in the commercial projects category
3. In year 2022 for 8th Lock – Ormond project – best in the public voting category
